I installed VirtualBox as I needed to set up a number of different types of computers. This to be able to perform some penetration testing.
As I would like to keep this local (no internet connections) for obvious reasons, I needed to configure a local network.
I had some issues when I should configure Host-only Networks as the Tab has gone missing(Figure 1 and Figure 2).

Here you can see that the Host-only Network tab is missing.
What you must do to get around this issue is to go to Host Network Manager:
Select File -> Host Network Manager or press Ctrl-H and you will then get the following dialogue (Figure 4):
Here you click on the Create icon…
Select DHCP and enter IPv4 address and network mask.
Now click on the DHCP Server tab as in Figure 6. Here you have to specify Server address, Server mask, Lower address bound and Upper address bound.
Now when you select one of your VM’s and select Settings -> Networks you can find the Host-only Adapter, as in Figure 6.
